Re: Elite Direto Belt Tension

Admin.........you say the problem will appear almost immediately, but that's not the case; @Quinton purchased on Nov. 15th, and it broke on Feb. 23rd.

There must be some way of identifying the affected models and arranging a PRODUCT RECALL.

Re: Elite Direto Belt Tension

How can I see this one is fitted with the correct part? All of us who have recently purchased a Direto would like to know whether our trainers are affected by this fault with the guide pulley being out of alignment. In fact, there should be a product recall for affected trainers. Perhaps admin can ...

Re: T34 heart rate belt

T34 is an anlaogue HRM protocol so won't work.
You need a digital ANT+ HRM, such as the https://buy.garmin.com/en-GB/GB/p/10996

Re: How to play a video from others

Yes, like you I was disappointed that whether you've got a free trial or paid subscription to my etraining software, you have to pay extra for the realvideos. On the other hand the myrealvideos are free, but for me a waste of time as apart from their poor quality they contain no GPS data so you won'...

Re: Do I need to adjust belt tension on Direto?

I contacted support, and heard back that up to 5 points less difference is OK. Never tighten the belt more than 1 turn, and never adjust the belt to give a reading higher than the value on the factory offset sticker underneath the trainer.

Re: Do I need to adjust belt tension on Direto?

I've been told that the 3 point discrepancy in my readings is acceptable. However, I still don't know what the acceptable range of points is; 5, 10, 20? I'm assuming that over time the gap between my readings will change (due to wear, season etc.) so it seems important to know this in order to adjus...

Re: My ETraining Desktop

Do I need to adjust belt tension on Direto?

I did a calibration test using myelite desktop, and it gave a factory offset reading of 6326. The reading on the sticker under the trainer shows 6329.
Is it necessary, or worthwhile adjusting the belt? Should the readings match exactly, and if not how close do they need to be?

Re: export training to STRAVA

@Pancreata, Sorry, first post in the forum (and also new threads) needs the admin approval (it's not for censoring them, of course, but to avoid phishing and spamming and other weird things). But it's a quite busy period of the year so we don't check the forum posts daily (usually weekly, but it de...
