Can't Connect Help Please

I have just purchased a Direto.
Downloaded the E Training app.
But.......... Cant seem to get connected.
My phone (galaxy s9) wont pair with the trainer via bluetooth it just says can't find device even though it's on the device list.
When I run the app it asks me to pedal which I have done for roughly 20 mins but nothing seems to happen.
Can anyone please help I'm very frustrated that an expensive bit of kit is causing so much hassle.

I am having a similar situation. I connect the trainer on my Win 10 PC via Bluetooth and E trainer app recognizes it. As soon as I minimize the app, the bluetooth LED starts blinking again. Very frustrating I just bough this trainer and I cannot use it.
