Resistance stuck on wireless turbo.

I have a Qubo wireless digital turbo which has the uploaded firmware to use as a smart turbo for Zwift etc.
3-4 weeks ago for some reason out the blue the resistance changed and now the lowest level ie level 1 has now become really hard to pedal even on the lowest gear.
Can any admins please advise. I have now boxed it up for now and using an old tacx turbo due to the elite being unusable.
