Incorrect value of power in zwift

Postby ronaldo.07 » Thu Nov 04, 2021 3:18 pm

Hello,
I have a problem with value of power in zwift, rouvy, and i didnt try elite app
when i create custom workout, for example intervals like 250w and 170w, power jumps around from +-5w to +-20w, with the same cadence, and normalized power always less by 3-10w
I have no idea, what i have to do to fix it.

Please help me!

Hi

Those oscillations are normal, they are due to the natural difference between a pedal stroke and the other.
Even pro riders have 10-15W fluctuations.
If you use an external power sensor, you will see that they are real and they are present even if the motor is not moving (for example in level mode).

If you prefer to see on screen a more smooth power, you can increase the value of power smoothing (you can do it by running my e-training and selecting Settings)

Regards
