Info about old trainer

I have a Travel Trac Century V fluid trainer, purchased around 2006. It's been working fine for many years.
A couple of weeks ago, the resistance unit began leaking a bit. I understand that this is a common issue as
fluid trainers age.
I can't find a local bike shop that knows how to repair this item. So I'd like to try the repair myself.
I'm supposing the issue is a deteriorated gasket, O-ring, or other kind of seal. My questions are:
- what are the specs for such a gasket or O-ring (size, material, etc.)?
- what kind of fluid is used inside the resistance unit (I'll need to add some)?
Thanks for any help.
