Qubo Power Smart B+ flat resistance

I got back on the trainer today after a summer without using it.

I accessed the resistance unit via bluetooth and proceeded to try and use one of my Program Mode Trainings, but the resistance will not change, nor change to the initial resistance setting. I re-installed the Application, and re-paired the bluetooth. That did not help. The App on my iPad shows the parameters changing when I start a training. It acts as if the resistance unit is transmitting but not receiving.

Is there a way to fix this?
