Suite - Provided Cassette not Shimano

Hi,
I took delivery of my Suito less than 2 weeks ago. I was a little surprised to find the fitted cassette was not a Shimano 105 unit - as advertised, but a Miche one. I am finding the chain skips a lot on the middle of the cassette which is disappointing to say the least.
Does anyone else have this setup and issue. Is this swap to a non Shimano item new or has this been the case for a while?
