Hi,
This is my 3rd Winter with my Direto XR, quite satisfied, with some - mostly - small bugs that, I guess, have been solved by software modifications/firmware updates.
Well, since a couple of days, there are times when the resistance suddenly completely drops. The free wheel spins, until, after several seconds, the resistance comes back. During that time, there is ZERO resistance, I could spin the pedals with one finger (which would be nice only at the times I need to adjust the cassette/rear derailleur !). It seems to happen when I slightly release the pressure on the pedals, the time to change a gear or to switch between small and big ring and vice versa. Which is VERY annoying, usually cutting my efforts when I'm riding long climbs, and it even becomes DANGEROUS when I want to sprint and that the resistance instantly drops to 0, as if it was my chain that was dropping.
It must be a hardware problem: what should I check, and how to fix it ?
