Resistance Issue with Elite Direto XRT and Garmin Forerunner 955 When Using Humango App

Postby celik.ozuduru » Fri Feb 07, 2025 8:41 am

I have been using the Elite Direto XRT indoor interactive trainer and training with the Humango app. All scheduled workouts are automatically uploaded to my Garmin Forerunner 955 watch. Initially, I had no issues completing my bike sessions with my watch connected to the trainer. However, recently, as soon as I launch a scheduled training session from my watch, the resistance immediately maxes out, making it impossible to pedal. If I manually adjust the resistance and/or gradient from my watch, it disrupts the structured workout. Interestingly, when I launch a Garmin-generated bike training, everything works fine. Does anyone know what might be causing this issue?

Note: Both my Forerunner 955 and Elite Direto XRT firmware are up to date.

Hi there, same trainer, same watch and same problems...I changed something inside the MyEtraining app, and now, when I'm in a workout, the trainer randomly disconnects from my Garmin, lowering the resistance to 0. After 20 or 30 seconds, it restarts working correctly... Any ideas?

That issue also happened last week, in the middle of the training session, resistance suddenly dropped along with the power. it is really annoying since that I have been trying to fix this issue for a long time.
