Difficulties installing bike on Direto

Postby Vorko76 » Wed Dec 02, 2020 3:39 pm

Hello everyone,

I have been struggling installing my bike on my newly purchased Direto. My bike is a Giant TCR Advanced with an 11-speed Shimano 105 cassette and I also installed an 11-speed 105 Shimano on my Direto.

To install the bike, I used a spacer on the QR Skewer, inserted it and then install the skewer. (see image)

Problem:
- if I dont squeeze the skewer tight around the frame, the frame is moving a bit
- if I squeeze it tight, then the cassette is not turning anymore (too tight)

Any idea whats wrong?

Finally I ended up using the thru axle adapters and my thru axle skewer and it works fine :D

Hi

I've looked at it on the internet and it seems compatible (it seems to have a standard geometry).
But to be sure look at this link:
