Resistance Stepper Motor

What a pain, got a new stepper motor from elite, fitted it, tried it out, the resistance worked for 10 mins on zwift...then lost resistance...the magnets were not moving, I calibrated via the elite app, then did a spin down via elite app all ok. I even did the magnet test 1 to 16 it moved threw all the steps. I even moved the ant sensor closer on a usb long lead from pc. No resistance. The motor buzzes when plugs in, moves the magnets then backs them off, it hits a micro switch on back of carrier. The magnets don't seem to be on start position 1, I did mark the carrier with tipex before I took it off. It's had a new circuit board £80, and a stepper motor elite sent me free which was good of them. I updated the firmware and the mcu unit before I went on zwift.seems strange it works for 10mins then no resistance.
