Direto belt snapped and Grey freewheel lateral play

My Direto has just passed it's 1 year Warranty and the belt has snapped!
There had been an occasional clicking noise for a few weeks previous but last Monday it snapped.
On taking the side off I also noticed there was a lot of lateral movement/play on the large grey freewheel.
Is this normal?

I have contacted Elite by email 3 times this week with no reply asking do I need to just replace the belt and whether the lateral movement/play of the grey freewheel was normal.

Are any others struggling with Elite support replying ?
Anybody had there belt snap and noticed the grey freewheel having quite a bit of lateral play??
