Direto - Belt Replaced now Calibration WAY off

So, my belt snapped, Elite sent me replacement pulley and belt. I have done the installation now THREE times following instructions.
Each time- same result - calibration is WAY off. Should be 6461, but its coming up as 6491
That means its 30 screw turns too tight. Which is impossible. If I loosen belt screw just 5-6 turns, then the pulley is disengaged.
When I ride, it actually seems OK. HOwevr, riding on sufferfest, the numbers are in fact out of wack. My cadence seems accurate, but the resulting Watts is just too high.
Has anyone replaced the belt? and how was calibration after?
Help tech here at Elite takes 1-2 days each time to reply.
I've lost now 2 weeks between waiting for part and now I'm still stuck with no trainer. VERY disapointed. I recently unloaded my old $200 tacx - which never failed and now I wish I had as a backup.
