Can I connect a 7x2 speed bike to my Elite direto XR

I have my regular 11 speed cassette on and I have spare 7x2 speed bike. I would like to make that my stationary bike and permanently connect it to the trainer. How can I do that?

Direto XR supports only 9-10-11sp cassette.
That said, we know that some users have been able to install also different cassettes by using additional spacers and with the help of their mechanics.
