Direto XRT powered by battery

Hello
I setup my Direto XRT in my shed powered via a 12V battery that is charged by a solar panel. I fitted a voltage stabilizer between the battery and the Direto to protect it from surges and dips in the voltage from the battery.
I expected it to work unfortunately it didn't. The Direto display shows three blinking blue lights which i see on other posts on the forum indicates a problem with the power supply.
The output from the stabilizer is a constant 12.12V. The stabilizer is rated as 12V and 10A. The output from the supplied PSU is 12.23V. Can you tell me what I need to change or what is not right?
Many thanks in advance for your help.
Peter
