Hi,
I just got my new smart trainer, that beast of the Drivo !
But I noticed that the power measured is "way" off, the Drivo underestimates the power I put by about 25-30W. So when I put 250W, the Drivo will only report about 220-225W. This is compared to my Stages powermeter, as well as my previous Trainer (Tacx Vortex): those two PM are very close from one another - once the Vortex has been warmed-up. One could say that the Drivo is the one giving the real numbers, and that the two other are giving wrong values; but I really can feel (in my legs !) that the power is off by a large margin, because I'm using virtual reality applications which simulate real roads, and I can tell you that the feeling is not correct on the Drivo, it's way too hard !
So I'd like to know if there is a way to calibrate it, or if I should return the unit before the Winter indoor season :'-( begins ?
Thanks.
Drivo calibration ?

Re: Drivo calibration ?
Hi
Absolutely, it is also a good habit to calibrate it about every month
Run the app my e-training, do a ten minutes warm up, then open the advanced configuration and run the guided calibration.
After the calibration, you should have a very precise reading
Let me know if all goes well

Hi. I find it a bit weird. I understood that the Elite Drivo self-calibrates and does not support external calibration commands. Is not it?

Re: Drivo calibration ?
Hi
I think there has been a misunderstanding on this topic.
It is self calibrating in the sense that it doesn't need an external power sensor (as it has its own).
But you need to give it the command to calibrate.

Well, the review of the Drivo made by the web 'TitaniumGeek' does not say that, I imagine it will be a mistake. This review says: "The Elite Drivo DOESNT ACCEPT CALIBRATION COMMANDS, so this is something to take off your mental checklist before a ride. Just accept that the autocalibration function will work!"

Re: Drivo calibration ?
I have a different problem (with direto though but I understand that the process and the app is tha same). The problem is that I don't even have an option for calibration in my e-training app (android). Any one had the same? Plus there is no windows app for direto trainer.
Re: Drivo calibration ?
I don't see any calibration option in the advanced configuration screen in My e-training app ?

Hi guys
Well, that's strange...
Please open the Parameter - Advanced Settings menu and check if you have this option:
