Qubo Digital Wireless

Hi,
I recently bought a second hand qubo digital wireless & can’t connect it to a third party training app. I’m not sure if it should have a handle bar control unit with it as the seller didn’t have one.
Any advice on how I can get it to connect would be helpful.
