Qubo Digital B+ griding noise

Hi,
I went to use my trainer as usual last night (it is just under 3 years old) and the motor is making some very strange grinding noises. The resistance is no longer working properly and I am putting out a lot of power and it is only reading consistently under 100 watts. My partner says the same happened to him the other night.

I am assuming that is the end of my trainers life then?
