Hi. I’m currently using a Direto X smart trainer which has already been replaced under warranty because it is way harder than others. This replacement is better, but I am absolutely burst after 45mins at a so called 150 watt workout.
I am the strongest rider in our group and can’t get close to even the weakest. I’m about 1w/kg less than I’m capable of doing.
Is there anything I can do to correct this? I have calibrated the unit after every workout and it makes no difference. Something is clearly different from others. If not, I will have to return it and purchase a competitor model.

Re: Direto X harder than competitors trainers
Hi
The best thing to do is to do a comparison with an external power sensor. Do you have one or do you know a friend that can lend you one?
If the power is identical, it means that the trainer is ok (and maybe other trainers you've tried were not).
Don't compare the effort pedaling indoor with the effort pedaling outdoor. It's normal to have a feeling of higher effort indoor, this is caused by the lacking of ventilation, the lacking of oscillation of the bike, the flywheel effect etc.
