Noisy Drivo

Postby patfly.lbc » Sun Nov 12, 2017 1:42 pm

I own an Elite drivo since august 2017.
I use it mainly with Zwift, about 3 times a week.

The trainer now makes some strange noise like it would need some grease inside. It's weard.

At the begining I was just earing lightly the Divo when it was adjusting resistance upon the slope. Now it's not light anymore. I don't only hear my bike's chain.

Any known issues ?

Regards

Support suggested I add grease to my noisy drivo and sent me a video for application. The did not specify the type of grease to use. It is a white paste in a "wladoil" branded can that says "dynamic fluid" at the top and "greases" below. I've asked for clarification, but maybe someone on this board will respond faster than email support.

I am thinking it is the GREASE HS 100 on this page, http://wladoil.com/portfolio-item/grass ... reasehs100, but hoping for some confirmation before adding grease to my drivo.

Any response on this from Elite? My unit started making "dragging noise" when I stop pedaling and let the fly wheel go to full stop.

@franklin.yawn

when there's strange noises or sounds, the best solution is always to contact the customer care at [email protected] adding a short video with the noise. If the video is too large, upload it on a file sharing site (like wetransfer or sendspace)
