Anyone know if there's a way to reset the Direto?
I bought a Direto last week and have been trying to set it up for the past 2 days.
- For the first few minutes it worked well and synced with the MyTrainign app
- I admit that I didn't ride it for the 20 minutes but jumped quickly to Zwift to see if it worked there
- It paired immediately but also immediately shifted into maximum resistance - i can't turn the pedals at all.
- It has stuck there at max resistance - I have done everything advised elsewhere in the forum (switched off for few minutes, even overnight... restarted my phone and reloaded the relevant apps... tried on both windows with ant+ dongle and iPhone with Bluetooth...tried multiple apps including MyTraining, TrainerRoad and Zwift... nothing has worked
- I'm now also having trouble pairing the device at all
Appreciate any advice anyone may have.

Hi there,
I have recently purchased a Direto x. It seemed fine in the first day, then has exactly the same issue described here by mattalfie. I’ve tried the same, switching off the trainer over night and deleting/re-installing the My E-Training app and so on.
It seems that the app doesn’t configure properly when the Direto x drive is chosen as the app doesn’t read the speed correctly. I mean the maximum speed it shows is 3 km/h at very high cadence and power.
Can I ask how did you solve the issue, please?

Good day. my directo xr has had a problem with the settings since the first launch, it is still giving it the highest resistance. could you please advise me how and if it can be fixed. well thank you

It may be a problem on the internal motor or on the electronic circuit board.
