Band New Direto X not working. Freehub - rachet problem

For good (or bad) I just upgraded my trainer from an Elite Digital Smart B+ to an Elite Directo X. Unfortunately the new one is not working, local distributor has no other units to replace it, and there are no smart trainers on the market.

The problem started with a knocking noise and after some kilometers pedaling started to fail. Each time I put power on the pedals, a hard noise is heard and no pedal traction is observed.

Hi there,

The second video doesnt work.

In the first video, the noise, appears to be from the cassete itself. Where you changing gears?
It seems to bee the chain pumping from the cassette tooth.

Im not an expert at all in trainers. Just a owner of a Elite Direto.

Thats really good news.

Regarding the knocking noise, just check the inside, only to be sure about it, check the inside to confirm the state and the position of the belt.

If you have strange noises on the trainer, contact our customer care at [email protected].
Sometime it's only necessary to do some little adjustments, sometimes it may be necessary to replace some parts.

Were you able to figure out what's causing this noise? My Direto X is also making an extremely similar noise.

Finally Elite support changed the rachet.
After installing it, all the problems were gone.
Now enjoying the trainer

I have exactly the same problem and have sent an email to Elite.
After 4 weeks still no response.
Tried to obtain a new freehub at the dealer or at all the known webshops, but no succes sofar.
I am very annoyed that Elite does not react at all.
