Divide actual circumference by 24.8
It's on page 39 of the manual.

About Direto:
- if you use my e-training app or software, you have to set the real circumference value of your wheel (for example, 2100mm)
- if you use a non-elite app or device (like Garmin), you have to divide the circumference value by 12.1 (for example, 2100/12.1= 173mm)

Regards

Buongiorno,
ho un edge 820 e un Direto X, dove ho inserito il valore della circonferenza ruota/12.1, ma la velocità non risulta corretto (al max. 4km/h).
Mi chiedo inoltre quale sia il valore da impostare in Rapp. Trasmissione

Grazie

I see that my edge detect a wrong speed compared to zwift (about 4 or 5kmh less for the direto).

I paired the direto as a speed sensor in edge menu with a wheel size of 174mm but it seem that edge calculate my speed not with direto speed sensor (it si the same with 2096 or 174mm).

do i have to edit the wheel size in mytraining app too?

I have a shimano rs100

Those are the rim dimensions
Rim Dimensions: External Rim Width: 23.2mm; Internal Rim Width: 17mm; Rim Height: 24mm

My tire is 700-25c

Which value should I set? 2070mm is the default, but i don’t know if this is correct or if I should change it

Thanks

The best way is always to measure it directly:

Does this value only affect to the elite app or also zwift and other simulators?

Hi

The value is being written on the trainer electronic board, so it will be valid even with other software BUT:
- also the other software may overwrite the value, so check the settings of the app/software you use
- every software can connect to the trainer in different ways (ant+ channel, ant+ fe-c channel, bluetooth, bluetooth FTMS); ant+ fe-c software for example read speed directly from the trainer, so circumference is not needed (and the value is ignored)

This is very confusing and I only ride in Zwift and my trainer is almost too hard to pedal is this something that needs to be adjusted. I have already posted a question in the forum but it seems that no-one from Elite is willing to help me resolve this issue. I just need to know if there is something in the settings that is not correct which is making it difficult to ride, I have been riding for a long time now and this is not my first trainer but by far the worst.

I'd like to know as well. Why does the Elite app specify a circumference of 2070 when a 700x25c wheel should actually be 2100 or 2095?
