During my training today i found that my Direto was lagging quite a lot and did not adjust the power in ERG mode. I use Powerroad.
Before the ride I used calibration in MyETraining, calibration value around 6700.
My problems was significant after around 10 mins. of my training as the Watt did not rise. Also they didn't decrease properly in the other intervals. Do you have any ideas what to do?
I tried manually to increase the watt target after around 12 minutes but it hardly reacted.
For graphs, please see attachment with zip-compressed tcx-file.
Kind regards.

Re: Direto ERG lag
Hi
If you use my e-training app, the trainer works properly?

Re: Direto ERG lag
I also have problems in MyEtraining.
Took a ride today using MyETraining and it was as if it took the trainer half an hour before at adjusted to target watts. This time it was too hard in the first half an hour of the session.
Files attached in zip folder.

Re: Direto ERG lag
I am having a similar problem using TrainerRoad with my Direto trainer in ERG mode. Power range never settles down to the target level in ERG mode, rather bounces around within ranges of 20 - 30 watts of target levels, sometimes even 100+ watts off the target. The issue is not restricted to using TrainerRoad and was evidenced as well using the myetraining app.
Any suggestions?

Re: Direto ERG lag
Variations of 20-30W are quite normal. 100W are too much, but depends on the pedaling.
Have a look at this thread about the same issue about Drivo :
http://forum.elite-it.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=78
If you think that the oscillation are definitely too high, the best thing to do is this:
- using my e-training app, create an incremental power mode training (1' at 100W, 1' at 150W, 1' at 200W and so on til your max pedalable power value)
- run on it trying to keep your speed and cadence as costant as possible in every segment (DON'T CHANGE GEAR!)
- export the training in tcx format
- send the file to [email protected] explaining the situation; the guys there will take a look to see if the situation is normal or not.
