I have tried multiple applications on 3 different devices to isolate the issue. I have used e-Training by Elite, IndieVelo, MyWhoosh, Garmin watch Forerunner 945, Windows 11 PC w/2022 Ryzen CPU, and Android 13 tablet.
All have the same issue. I can increase the trainer resistance through the applications. However this is where functionality ends. All apps show Zero power, cadence, and speed.
Firmware is up to date according to My e-Training.
P.S. This is a second hand device. I am trying to stay under $250 in part replacement costs.

Re: Zero Cadence, power, speed on Direto
Update#1 Elite recommended replacement of the electronic circuit board. Now the symptoms are changed.
Power is reported incorrectly as 1944watts. Cadence is erratic and sometimes hangs on a high value for 5-10 seconds even when not pedaling. Speed is reported correctly. Trainer was able to calibrate correctly according to the My-eTraining app.
I am guessing there are multiple faults with this trainer.

Re: Zero Cadence, power, speed on Direto
Support confirmed that the power sensor is at fault. This was after running My-eTrainging diagnostics and calibrating the trainer with the my-Etraining app. The symptoms persisted. The power sensor needs to be replaced AND calibrated by a technician using some wizardly procedure that has not been disclosed.
Does anyone know how to calibrate a power sensor?
Support says the only remedy is to scrap the trainer and buy a new one because there are no technicians near the state of Arizona, USA to do the calibration procedure.
